Job Summary

As a Material Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products and components meet critical regulatory standards such as REACH, RoHS, WEEE, and PFAS. Your daily activities will involve evaluating material compositions, documenting compliance data, and managing submissions to the SCIP database. You will serve as a vital link between suppliers and customers, requesting and verifying material declarations and safety data sheets to ensure full supply chain transparency. Beyond pure compliance, you will oversee recycling processes, disposal requirements, and sustainability standards, including packaging norms like ATA-300. This role is highly collaborative, requiring you to advise internal departments like R&D, Procurement, and Quality Management while conducting internal training sessions and supporting audits. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Sustainability Management, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in managing material data, supplier declarations, and technical data sheets
  • Experience with the structure and maintenance of material and compliance databases
  • Experience in evaluating material prohibitions and limit values within complex assemblies
  • Professional background in environmental regulations, battery ordinances, and product disposal requirements
