Job Summary

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a student to support the Heidelberg Institute for Geoinformation Technology (HeiGIT) in developing geographic information solutions for social and environmental benefits. As a Student Assistant in the TIGr-Team, you will focus on the practical application of Machine Learning Operations (MLOps). Your day-to-day responsibilities include supporting the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of machine learning models, as well as building and automating data pipelines. You will also assist in preparing training data and maintaining critical server infrastructure. This position is ideal for students looking to gain hands-on experience with cloud technologies and automation in a charitable research environment.
