Job Summary

As an Electrical Engineer at Blindleister, you will serve as the critical bridge between physical energy infrastructure and digital software solutions. Your primary responsibility involves creating high-precision digital twins of wind, solar, and battery storage parks using DIgSILENT PowerFactory. These models form the essential foundation for software that enables renewable energy plants to actively market reactive power, ensuring grid stability. Day-to-day, you will conduct load flow analyses, evaluate grid connection points, and automate data evaluations using Python. This role is unique as it offers the chance to join a high-traction climate-tech startup from its early stages (founded in 2025), directly influencing the transition to a 100% renewable energy system. You will work in a hybrid environment in Berlin, collaborating closely with the founding team to turn theoretical reactive power into systemic relevance for the German power grid.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor or Master), ideally with a focus on Energy Systems.

Experience

  • Professional experience in modeling wind, solar, and battery parks using DIgSILENT PowerFactory
  • Experience in conducting load flow analyses and evaluating grid connection points
  • Practical experience with power electronics and inverter-based resources (PV, BESS)
  • Experience in developing and automating technical evaluations using Python
  • Proven ability to work in structured, analytical, and independent environments
