Job Summary
This role involves bringing complex machinery to life, ranging from small process engineering plants to some of Germany's largest parcel centers. As a PLC Programmer and Commissioning Engineer, your day-to-day will focus on programming control systems primarily using Simatic S7 and TIA Portal, alongside developing HMI interfaces with WinCC. You will be responsible for conducting rigorous system function tests and overseeing the physical commissioning of equipment at client sites. Beyond technical execution, you will support the market launch and production phases, optimizing functions to meet specific customer needs. This position is ideal for those who enjoy a mix of office-based development and hands-on site work. Required Skills
Education
Vocational training or degree as a Technician in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical field.
Experience
- Professional experience in PLC programming with a focus on TIA Portal and Simatic S7
- Experience in creating and editing HMI interfaces using WinCC
- Proven track record in conducting system function tests and on-site commissioning
- Practical experience in reading and interpreting electrical circuit and terminal diagrams
