Job Summary
This role involves leading a laboratory team focused on environmental measurement and radiation protection for Wismut GmbH, a federally owned company specializing in the remediation of uranium mining sites. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating team members, overseeing analytical procedures, and verifying results for liquid and solid samples. A critical part of the role includes monitoring limit values for water treatment plants and ensuring compliance with DIN EN ISO 17025 quality management standards. You will also manage occupational safety documentation and provide technical support for internal and external clients. Required Skills
Education
State-certified Technician in Chemistry with a focus on Laboratory Technology or Environmental Chemistry, or Industrial Master (Meister) in Chemistry, or a similar qualification.
Experience
- Long-term professional experience in laboratory analytics and laboratory quality management
- Proven experience in laboratory processes and workflows
- Experience in coordinating, controlling, and instructing team members
- Practical knowledge in monitoring limit values and environmental monitoring
