Job Summary
As an Avionics and Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for defining and implementing system architectures and designing modifications for avionics and electrical systems in both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. Your day-to-day activities will involve creating technical drawings, including wiring harness layouts, circuit diagrams, and interconnection tables. You will perform critical analyses to ensure the integrity of electrical installations and coordinate with customers and suppliers to select optimal equipment. A key part of the role involves supporting qualification and certification processes by preparing necessary documentation and reports. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the aviation industry
- Experience in the electrical design and layout of aircraft
- Proficiency in using CAD tools for creating aircraft wiring and cabling
- Experience with standalone instruments and integrated avionics architectures
- Experience in supporting qualification and certification processes
