Job Summary
As the IT Department Manager for a long-standing corrugated packaging manufacturer, you will hold overall responsibility for the IT infrastructure and business-critical application systems across multiple locations. Operating from Moers, you will lead and develop the IT team both technically and disciplinarily, ensuring the stable operation of a Microsoft-based landscape. Your role involves a strategic blend of hands-on optimization of ERP, CRM, and DMS systems and high-level IT strategy development reporting directly to the Managing Director. This position is ideal for a leader who enjoys bridging the gap between technical infrastructure and commercial business processes. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science (Informatiker) or a related technical field, or equivalent professional qualification.
Experience
- Several years of experience in leading and developing an IT team within an industrial environment
- Extensive experience managing technical and commercial business process integration
- Proven track record in IT architecture and infrastructure oversight
- Professional experience in the optimization and development of application systems (ERP, CRM)
- Demonstrated competence in multi-project management
- Experience reporting to executive management levels
