As a Project Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the energy transition by designing regenerative storage power plants and renewable heating networks. Your daily responsibilities include conducting feasibility studies, developing preliminary concepts, and managing the initial design phases (HOAI phases 1-3). You will work closely with clients and colleagues to create ethical and economically viable energy solutions. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Engineering, ideally specializing in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Technology, or Process Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in engineering, specifically within project development or renewable energy sectors is preferred.
- Experience in creating feasibility studies, particularly within frameworks like the Federal Funding for Efficient Heating Networks (BEW).
- Practical experience in the initial planning phases (HOAI 1-3) of technical projects.
- Proven ability to handle customer communication and collaborative team environments.
