Job Summary
As a Chemical Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the decommissioning and dismantling of nuclear power plants for PreussenElektra GmbH, a subsidiary of the E.ON Group. Your daily tasks will involve conducting chemical and radiochemical analyses on samples, ensuring compliance with water regulations, and performing wastewater analyses. A key part of your role will be maintaining quality assurance within the laboratory through various tests and meticulous documentation. This position requires a professional with a background in instrumental analytical chemistry and experience in both conventional and radiochemical lab work. The ideal candidate will possess an analytical mindset, a structured approach to problem-solving, and a willingness to be flexibly deployed across different lab areas. Education
Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in instrumental analytical chemistry
- Professional experience in radiochemical work
- Professional experience in laboratory work
- Professional experience in wastewater analysis
- Basic knowledge in radiochemistry is desirable
- Basic knowledge in nuclear radiation measurement technology is desirable
- Knowledge of KKI 2 plant and system is desirable

- This position is offered for a period of 4 years or until December 31, 2029. Currently, only internal PreussenElektra applicants can be hired indefinitely; all other applicants will be offered fixed-term contracts.
