Job Summary
As a Construction Manager based in Harthausen, you will be the central figure responsible for the end-to-end coordination and supervision of diverse construction projects. Your daily activities will involve acting as the primary point of contact for architects, contractors, and authorities, ensuring that all work is executed efficiently and in compliance with building permits and safety regulations. You will be tasked with creating schedules, negotiating with suppliers, managing costs, and developing contingency plans when disruptions occur. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who excels at independent strategic planning and leadership. The position offers a permanent contract within a family-oriented corporate culture, providing a high degree of responsibility and 30 days of annual leave. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Civil Engineering or a comparable field; alternatively, a qualification as a Certified Construction Technician (Bautechniker) with relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in construction management or site supervision
- Proven experience in negotiating with suppliers, contractors, and public authorities
- Experience in personnel leadership and team coordination
- Several years of professional experience required if applying with a technical vocational background
- Demonstrated experience in cost control and construction accounting
