Job Summary

In this role, you will lead the development and optimization of advanced image processing systems for wafer inspection, focusing on illumination concepts, imaging optics, and camera selection. You will be responsible for characterizing the optical and physical properties of semiconductor materials to improve defect detection and dimensional measurement. Day-to-day activities include developing physical models for forces and vibrations in sorting systems, conducting particle analyses in cleanroom environments, and performing measurement uncertainty analyses. You will act as a vital bridge between hardware and software engineering teams, translating complex physical insights into machine design specifications. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented scientist who enjoys experimental lab work and systematic data collection. Required Skills

Education
