Job Summary
As a (Senior) Validation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the semiconductor product development lifecycle by leading bench validation activities for silicon ICs. Your daily responsibilities include analyzing chip architectures to design comprehensive post-silicon characterization plans and coordinating with cross-functional teams like design and systems. You will be hands-on in designing PCB layouts for validation boards, automating bench setups to streamline testing, and performing rigorous parametric and system-level tests. This role is highly technical, requiring you to debug complex device issues independently and present detailed findings to stakeholders. This position is particularly attractive for engineers who enjoy a blend of hardware design and software automation, offering the chance to work with cutting-edge power devices and innovative testing methodologies in a permanent, full-time capacity.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a similar field of study.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in validation of silicon ICs
- Professional experience in bench automation and laboratory setup creation
- Experience in designing and developing schematics and layouts for PCBs
- Experience with power devices such as DC-DC converters and Efuse (preferred)
- Proven track record in debugging and resolving device-related issues independently
