Job Summary

This role involves supporting innovative projects centered on wastewater heat utilization and renewable energies within the Water Management and Hydrometeorology department in Essen. Day-to-day, the successful candidate will conceptually develop aquathermal energy initiatives, refine regional energy maps, and process data derived from sewer network modeling and pollution load calculations. A significant portion of the role focuses on the maintenance and enhancement of water management data using GIS and specialized applications, alongside developing automation routines for quality management and flood forecasting.
