The Saale-Holzland-Kreis is seeking two full-time, permanent Auditors for its Audit Office. In this role, you will be responsible for the local auditing of the budget and financial management of the district and its constituent municipalities that do not have their own audit office. Key duties include reviewing annual accounts and financial statements, ensuring compliance with municipal and budgetary regulations, preparing audit reports, and verifying proofs of use. Required Skills
Education
Diploma in Public Administration (FH) in Municipal Administration and General State Administration OR Bachelor of Arts in Administrative Management, Public Management (with focus on Administration and Law), or Management in Public Enterprises and Institutions/Public Management OR Bachelor of Laws OR completed advanced training as an Administrative Specialist (FLII) or Administrative Business Economist (VWA)
Experience
- Professional experience in auditing annual accounts and financial statements
- Experience in ensuring compliance with legal and budgetary regulations
- Experience in preparing audit reports and verifying proofs of use

- Mobility (driving license Class B) required; willingness to use private car for business purposes (expenses reimbursed according to Thuringian Travel Expenses Act).
