Job Summary

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician at Salzgitter Mannesmann Grobblech GmbH, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational reliability of a heavy plate rolling mill in Mülheim an der Ruhr. Your daily activities involve troubleshooting electrical systems up to 1 kV and PLC controllers using circuit diagrams, measuring tools, and programming devices. You will play a critical role in systematic fault analysis, supporting operational shifts, and performing continuous plant optimization to improve efficiency and availability. Beyond reactive maintenance, you will be tasked with programming and adapting Siemens PLC systems (S5, S7, TIA Portal) and managing technical projects from the creation of tender documents to final implementation.
