Job Summary

As a Wiring Harness Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and designing complex vehicle electrical systems using CAD software. Your daily responsibilities include creating innovative concepts for wiring harness production, optimizing existing architectures to enhance performance, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction. You will serve as a central point of contact for both clients and production facilities, ensuring seamless communication across the supply chain. Beyond design, you will be responsible for maintaining technical specifications, creating comprehensive documentation, and supporting the development of specific harness components. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering; alternatively, a technical qualification such as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or Certified Technician.

Experience

  • Proven experience in the development and construction of electrical systems using CAD tools
  • Experience in creating and maintaining technical specifications and project protocols
