Job Summary
As an Automation Engineer or Technician at BRÜGGEN ENGINEERING in Darmstadt, you will play a pivotal role in the planning and development of automation systems specifically for water and wastewater treatment plants. Your daily responsibilities will involve the conceptual design of automation solutions, programming PLC and SCADA systems, and conducting loop checks and system commissioning. You will also provide essential on-site and remote maintenance services while acting as a technical consultant for clients, including conducting staff training and creating detailed technical documentation. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a certified Technician qualification in a related field.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in PLC programming, specifically with TIA Portal and S7
- Proven experience working with visualization systems such as WinCC and HMI/SCADA
- Professional experience in the planning and development of automation systems within plant engineering
- Experience in process, measurement, and control technology (MSR) is highly desirable
- Experience in the field of drinking water, wastewater, or industrial water treatment is an advantage
