Job Summary
This full-time role within the Lower Nature Conservation Authority involves securing Natura 2000 protected areas and implementing management plans in accordance with nature conservation laws. Day-to-day, you will draft technical statements, collaborate with ecological stations on habitat maintenance, and independently manage the acquisition of funding for species protection projects. A significant portion of the role involves assessing project compatibility with environmental regulations and conducting FFH impact assessments. This position is particularly attractive for those who enjoy a mix of office-based analytical work and field service. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, specifically in Landscape Ecology, Nature Conservation, Landscape Planning, or a comparable field of study with nature conservation technical content.
Experience
- Professional experience in landscape ecology, nature conservation, or landscape planning
- Extensive knowledge of European and national nature conservation legislation
- Experience in drafting technical environmental statements and management plans
- Proven experience in administrative requirements for Natura 2000 sites
- Experience in public relations and stakeholder engagement

- Valid Class B driver's license and willingness to use a private vehicle for field service purposes is required. The position is a fixed-term parental leave replacement until June 2028 with an option for permanent employment.
