Job Summary
As an IT Systems Engineer for Land C2 Solutions at Airbus Defence and Space, you will play a critical role in managing and evolving complex Windows server environments. Your day-to-day responsibilities include the installation, operation, and administration of core infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, DFS, Hyper-V, and WSUS. You will manage Active Directory roles, implement security concepts based on BSI standards, and automate routine tasks using PowerShell. A unique aspect of this role involves on-site customer roll-outs, where you will handle installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Required Skills
Education
A completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT and Information Systems
- Proven experience in the administration of Windows Server operating systems
- Practical experience with Group Policies and Microsoft Exchange Server
- Experience in implementing security concepts within Windows environments
- Experience in on-site customer roll-outs, including installation and commissioning
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to travel for business is required. Candidates must be able to implement security protocols such as BSI-Grundschutz and CERT-Bw. The role is based in Immenstaad and involves on-site customer support.
