Job Summary

As a Digitalization Project Manager at BWI, you will play a vital role in modernizing the IT infrastructure of the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). Working within the Center of Excellence for Project Management, you will lead or support application and platform projects focusing on mobility, security, and mission-related IT. Your daily responsibilities include planning and executing projects of low to medium complexity, translating customer requirements into IT processes, and managing stakeholder interests across classic, agile, or hybrid methodologies. You will also oversee quality management, risk coordination, and supplier management. This position is ideal for professionals who want to contribute to national security while working on one of Germany's most complex IT landscapes. Required Skills

Education

Degree in (Business) Informatics or related fields; PMI (PMP, PgMP) or IPMA (Level C/D) certification; Scrum Master (PSM I) or Product Owner (PSPO I) certification.

Experience

  • 2+ years of professional experience in project management, PMO, or agile roles for degree holders
  • 5+ years of professional experience in project management or PMO for candidates with vocational training
  • Proven responsibility for project time, costs, and quality
  • Experience in software development, telecommunications, or information security projects
  • Practical experience applying agile methods such as Scrum
