Job Summary

As an Electrical Engineer in this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of electronic components within marine systems. Your day-to-day activities involve analyzing product requirements to create technical concepts, selecting or developing components based on economic and functional criteria, and conducting design analyses to ensure technical feasibility. You will take a lead role in coordinating component development and integrating these parts into complex system architectures. A significant portion of the role includes creating hardware specifications and manufacturing documentation to ensure smooth handovers to production and quality assurance teams. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical engineering, information technology, or mechatronics
  • Experience in the analysis and design of distributed systems
  • Proficiency with version control systems and project management tools like Git, SAP, Jira, and Confluence
  • Several years of professional experience required if applying with a Technician qualification instead of a degree
  • Experience in coordinating the development of components within larger system architectures
