Job Summary
As a Service Engineer for Environmental Analytics, you will serve as a global problem solver, ensuring the functionality of high-tech measuring devices worldwide. Your day-to-day involves installing, maintaining, and repairing analytical equipment both at customer sites and in the Berlin-based service workshop. You will act as a primary technical consultant, managing your own deployment planning and reporting while providing training to international technicians and sales partners. This role is ideal for those who enjoy a mix of hands-on technical work and international travel, offering the chance to work in high-tech laboratories and industrial plants across Europe and beyond. The position is unique for its high level of autonomy in service planning and the opportunity to act as a technical ambassador for a specialized German technology firm.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or university degree with a focus on Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Engineering, or Natural Sciences.
Experience
- Professional experience in electronics and measurement technology
- Experience in the installation, maintenance, and diagnosis of analytical measuring devices
- Experience in independent customer advisory and service deployment planning
- Experience in technical reporting and documentation using CRM systems
- Experience in training and qualifying technical staff or partners
