Job Summary

This role involves training and mentoring young individuals aged 16 to 24, including those with disabilities, for careers as Electronics Technicians for Devices and Systems and Industrial Electricians. As a Technical Vocational Trainer, you will spend your days providing hands-on instruction in essential skills such as soldering, the use of measuring instruments, and the fundamentals of electronics, microcomputer technology, and PLC systems. You will also contribute to maintaining and improving the educational institution's quality standards. The ideal candidate holds a background as a Master Craftsman, Technician, or Engineer in Electronics and possesses the empathy required to work with young learners. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician or Mechatronics Technician; alternatively, a degree in Engineering or a Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician (Techniker) certificate in the field of Electronics.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the field of electronics
  • Professional experience in knowledge transfer or technical instruction
  • Previous experience as a vocational trainer is preferred
  • Experience working with young adults (ages 16-24), including those with special needs/handicaps
