As a Chemical Laboratory Technician at one of Germany's largest long-distance water suppliers, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality drinking water for 3 million people. Based at the Langenau waterworks, your daily responsibilities involve the analytical testing of various water types, including drinking, ground, and surface water. You will utilize advanced liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry (LC-HRMS, LC-MS/MS) for trace substance determination and engage in effect-based analytics. Beyond routine testing, you will contribute to research tasks, perform data evaluations, and manage quality assurance documentation. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician (Chemielaborant), Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA), or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or Chemical-Technical Assistant
- Experience in water analysis is preferred but not mandatory
- Proven experience in trace substance determination using chromatographic and mass spectrometric methods
- Experience in performing and documenting quality assurance measures
