Job Summary

As an Automation and Systems Technician, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing production facilities through advanced control and automation processes. Your daily responsibilities include analyzing current automation levels, developing optimization concepts, and programming new control systems. You will be responsible for the planning and expansion of electrical systems, including control cabinet construction, while establishing standardized visualization systems. Beyond technical implementation, you will act as a key collaborator, working with external partners and training the internal maintenance team on automation technologies. Required Skills

Education

Completed training as a Technician or Engineer in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in PLC programming using Siemens S7, TIA Portal, or WinCC
  • Proven experience in the design and implementation of new control systems
  • Professional experience in electrical plant planning and control cabinet construction
  • Practical experience in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and optimization of existing control processes
  • Experience in collaborating with external service providers and suppliers
