Job Summary

As the Lead IT Architect for Managed Databases, you will spearhead the digital transformation of Germany's federal defense IT infrastructure. Operating within the Platform Technologies division, you will be responsible for defining architecture strategies and developing secure, high-performance on-premise database platforms. Your day-to-day involves creating detailed solution concepts, emergency protocols, and security frameworks for Open Source database environments. You will bridge the gap between technical execution and strategic management by advising on service strategies, conducting Proof of Concepts (POCs), and driving efficiency through automation.
