Job Summary

As a Protection and Control Technician specializing in medium voltage, you will serve as a critical technical interface for renewable energy projects, including photovoltaic systems, transformer stations, and battery storage units. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve performing protection and functional tests on medium-voltage systems, commissioning protection devices, and conducting bit tests for telecontrol systems. You will be responsible for calculating protection setting data, selecting appropriate protection transformers, and analyzing measurement results to ensure operational reliability. This role is highly dynamic, requiring significant travel across Germany, Austria, and occasionally Italy.
