Job Summary
As a (Senior) Engineering Manager for Wafer Test, you will lead a specialized engineering group within a complex semiconductor manufacturing environment. Your primary responsibility is to oversee resource management, competency development, and staff training while ensuring that measurement processes remain lean, stable, and compliant with strict specification frameworks. You will play a pivotal role in quality assurance by assessing blocked batches and leading the resolution of technical and quality issues. Beyond daily operations, you will drive innovation by identifying improvement opportunities and ensuring the seamless transition of new products and processes into the wafer test ecosystem. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in high-pressure, dynamic environments and possesses the stakeholder management skills necessary to communicate effectively across various departments to ensure operational excellence.
Required Skills
Education
University Degree in semiconductor physics, electrical engineering, microelectronics, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a complex manufacturing environment
- Professional experience in semiconductor physics or microelectronics
- Previous experience in people management is preferred
- Proven track record in stakeholder management and technical leadership
- Experience in managing measurement processes and quality compliance
