Job Summary

This role offers the unique opportunity to help build a new police department at the Drone Competence and Defense Center (DKAZ) of the Bavarian Riot Police in Erding. You will be responsible for the day-to-day planning, setup, and operation of secure networks, including the configuration of routers, switches, and wireless systems. Your duties will span from hands-on hardware installation and server administration (Windows/Linux) to managing complex Cisco network components and integrating specialized sensors. Beyond technical tasks, you will handle IT asset management, logistics, and procurement. Required Skills

Education

Completed 3-year vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration), IT Systems Electronics Technician, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT system integration or network technology is preferred
  • Experience in system administration, specifically within Microsoft environments
  • Practical experience with active network components and Cisco hardware
  • Proven experience in network security and data backup monitoring
  • Experience in hardware/software troubleshooting and solution development
