Job Summary

This role is centered on the standardization of electrical engineering within the 'Line Engineering' cross-functional department at KHS, a global leader in filling and packaging systems. As a Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and expansion of the TIA Motion project generator, focusing on new drives and motion features. Your daily tasks include implementing automated generation functions for motion and technology objects, conducting functional tests for new Siemens TIA versions, and validating configurations such as axes, limits, and safety parameters. You will also provide technical support for complex motion-related errors and optimize the performance of the project generator. This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy complex technical challenges in automation and motion control. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable engineering field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in automated project generation or motion engineering is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in programming with TIA Openness and Visual Studio (C#/.NET)
  • Proven experience in TIA Motion and Siemens technology objects
  • Experience in validating motion configurations including axes, limits, and safety features
  • Experience in analyzing complex motion and parameterization errors
