Job Summary
This role involves the planning, monitoring, and continuous development of IT infrastructure for the Austrian Labour Inspectorate. As a key member of the IT unit, you will be responsible for the conception and implementation of ICT security systems, ensuring the robust operation of servers, clients, firewalls, and network technology. Day-to-day tasks include managing Active Directory, overseeing backup and disaster recovery solutions, and performing statistical data evaluations. The position is ideal for a proactive professional who excels in structured, independent work and possesses a deep understanding of network security and NIS2 guidelines. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Master or Bachelor) in a relevant field, or Higher Technical College (HTL) / Matura with corresponding experience.
Experience
- 3 years of professional experience required with a Master's or Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of professional experience required with a High School Diploma (Matura/HTL)
- Professional experience with backup, restore, and disaster recovery solutions
- Professional experience with NDR and EDR systems
- Experience in the conception and operation of server and network environments
