Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position at the University Hospital Salzburg involves working at the critical interface of clinical operations and pathology. As a Molecular Biologist, you will perform high-stakes molecular biological analyses including PCR, Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), and methylation analysis to support patient care. Your day-to-day will involve drafting diagnostic reports in collaboration with pathologists, establishing and validating new laboratory methods, and contributing to scientific research projects. The role also carries responsibility for quality management according to DIN EN ISO 15189 standards and general laboratory administration. Required Skills

Education

Completed University degree in Biology with a focus on Molecular Biology (minimum requirement: Master's degree).
