Job Summary
As a Metrology Technician at RLE INTERNATIONAL, you will play a critical role in quality assurance for the automotive and technology sectors. Your daily responsibilities include conducting Production Part Approval Processes (PPAP) and initial sample inspections to ensure the highest standards for parts and assemblies. You will be responsible for selecting and creating test plans, setting up and programming measuring equipment, and documenting detailed test sequences. A significant portion of the role involves evaluating results, reporting deviations, and initiating corrective measures. This position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in metalworking and 3D measurement technology. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the metalworking field or equivalent professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in metalworking or a completed vocational training in a related field
- Proven experience in 3D measurement technology and quality assurance
- Practical experience using FARO measurement software
- Professional experience with PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and initial sample testing
- Demonstrated ability to interpret multidimensional components and technical drawings
