Job Summary
This role is centered on the physical testing of initial samples for both in-house and purchased components within a traditional medium-sized motorsport company. You will be responsible for the entire testing lifecycle, including planning investigations, sampling, and documentation. A core part of your daily routine involves independent metallographic sample preparation—specifically cutting, grinding, polishing, and etching—followed by detailed microscopic evaluation. You will evaluate metallographic findings for series and special samples and communicate these results to internal departments such as Quality, Engineering, and the Hardening Shop. Additionally, you will coordinate supplementary mechanical-technological tests and ensure supplier documentation meets all conformity requirements. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working at the intersection of quality assurance and manufacturing. The role offers attractive benefits including 30 days of vacation, pension contributions, and corporate discounts, all within a collaborative team environment dedicated to high-performance engineering.
