As an Energy Analytics Engineer at BCG Platinion, you will act as a strategic technical consultant for clients in the energy, trading, and utilities sectors. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve analyzing market dynamics and technology maturity to provide actionable recommendations. You will be instrumental in building internal platforms and service offerings by developing Demos, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) using modern development methodologies and GenAI-supported tools. Furthermore, you will evaluate future technologies such as Digital Twins and Multi-Agent Systems to create practical customer strategies. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in implementing IT solutions within the energy sector (e.g., industry, software provider, or consulting)
- Professional experience with DevOps, Release Management, Environment Management, or Test Management
- Proven experience with utility system landscapes in areas such as trading, sales, service, or grid operations
- Experience in developing Demos, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs)
