Job Summary

This role involves the comprehensive planning and management of complex municipal infrastructure projects in Fulda, Germany. As a Project Manager or Engineer, you will handle all phases of the HOAI (Official Scale of Fees for Services by Architects and Engineers), focusing on the construction, renovation, and rehabilitation of utility systems including water, wastewater, gas, electricity, district heating, and telecommunications. Your daily responsibilities will include cross-disciplinary project steering, coordinating with regulatory authorities and utility companies, preparing quantity surveys, and overseeing construction site management. The position is unique for its regional focus and the opportunity to work on diverse civil engineering structures. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Diploma, Bachelor, or Master) in Civil Engineering with a focus on Urban Water Management, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a qualification as a certified Construction Technician.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the planning of sewage networks, hydraulic structures, or utility systems is desirable
  • Experience in cross-disciplinary project steering and coordination with public authorities and specialist planners
  • Practical experience in construction management and site supervision for complex infrastructure projects
  • Proven track record in cost and schedule control within the engineering sector
  • Experience using specialized engineering software such as card_1, solids, or Civil3D is an advantage
