As the Chief Physician of Cardiac Surgery at the Evangelical Heart Center Coswig, you will lead the Department of Cardiac Surgery, overseeing a state-of-the-art facility equipped with three operating theaters, a 16-bed intensive care unit, and advanced cardiovascular technology. You will be responsible for the clinical and conceptual development of the center, ensuring high-quality surgical care while mentoring and training the next generation of surgeons. This leadership role involves working within an interdisciplinary team characterized by mutual respect and trust. Required Skills
Education
Medical degree with German license to practice medicine (Approbation) and Board Certification (Facharzttitel) in Cardiac Surgery.
Experience
- Several years of experience as a Senior Physician (Leitender Oberarzt) or in a comparable leadership position within a renowned cardiac surgery department
- Proven track record of above-average surgical skills, particularly in forward-looking treatment approaches
- Experience in the conceptual and strategic development of medical departments
- Demonstrated experience in the training and education of junior surgical staff
