Job Summary

This role involves supporting a specialized laboratory team at EpiLogic GmbH in Freising and Zolling, focusing on fungicide sensitivity and resistance analysis. As a Laboratory Technician, you will perform daily in-vitro and in-vivo bioassays, including mycelial growth inhibition and EC50 determinations. You will be responsible for the cultivation of phytopathogenic fungi, sample preparation for molecular analysis, and general laboratory organization such as equipment maintenance and inventory management. The position is ideal for candidates with a background in biology or plant technology who enjoy hands-on scientific work. This is a 30-35 hour per week position, initially fixed for two years with a potential for extension. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Biology Laboratory Technician, Chemistry Laboratory Technician, Plant Production Technician, ATA, CTA, BTA, or a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences.

Experience

  • Professional experience in microbiological laboratory work
  • Experience with sterile working techniques is preferred
  • Experience in mycology or plant protection is advantageous
  • Experience in documenting experimental results and laboratory organization

  • Valid Class B driver's license required. Position is part-time (30-35 hours/week) and fixed-term for two years starting April 2026.
