Job Summary
As a Quality Assurance Specialist at this family-owned specialist for fastening systems, you will play a critical role in maintaining high production standards at the Lichtenfels-Goddelsheim plant. Your daily responsibilities will involve monitoring and advancing the Quality Management system, performing material testing, and conducting metrological tasks. You will be responsible for determining mechanical values of control samples, preparing materials for metallographic examinations in the tempering department, and managing incoming goods inspections. Beyond technical testing, you will handle complaint processing, monitor measuring equipment, and maintain active communication with both suppliers and customers. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a background in materials science who enjoys a mix of laboratory work, documentation, and process improvement. The position offers a long-term perspective in a growing medium-sized company with a structured onboarding process and modern facilities.
Required Skills
Education
Vocational training as a Materials Tester, Technician in Materials Technology or Metal Technology, Physical-Technical Assistant, or a similar qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in materials testing, metallography, or heat treatment is preferred.
- Experience in creating and managing quality documentation.
- Proven experience with quality standards such as ISO 9001 or automotive-specific IATF 16949.
- Experience in handling customer and supplier complaints including 8D reporting.
