Job Summary
This part-time position (19.5 hours per week) is situated within the Office for Participation and Social Affairs in Oldenburg, specifically supporting the ESF-funded project 'DOCK Oldenburg'. As a Project Accounting Officer, you will be responsible for the financial integrity of a project aimed at supporting families at risk of poverty. Your day-to-day tasks involve creating audit-proof financial records, monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with complex funding regulations. You will work closely with project management and municipal controlling departments to document procurement and award processes. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with a background in public administration who want to contribute to social inclusion. Required Skills
Education
Degree as a Management Assistant in Public Administration (Verwaltungsfachangestellte/r) or Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungswirt/in / Angestelltenprüfung I).
Experience
- Professional experience in financial accounting or project-based controlling
- Experience working with complex regulatory frameworks and funding guidelines
- Proven track record in organized and independent administrative work
- Experience in public sector procurement and documentation is preferred
- Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration with various specialist departments
