Job Summary

As the Director of Infrastructure and Environment, you will hold overall responsibility for the technical, personnel, and economic management of two closely integrated departments: Urban Water Management and Hydraulic Engineering. Operating out of Leipzig or Dresden, you will spearhead strategic growth in collaboration with executive leadership, focusing on target markets and sustainable infrastructure planning. Your day-to-day involves managing budgets, resource planning, and project monitoring while actively driving market acquisition and maintaining relationships with public sector clients and municipalities. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, preferably specializing in Urban Water Management or Hydraulic Engineering.

Experience

  • At least 10 years of professional experience in Senior Project Management or a comparable leadership position
  • Proven track record of managing projects, specifically within Urban Water Management
  • Extensive experience in client acquisition and an existing network of contacts in Saxony and/or Saxony-Anhalt
  • Experience in handling Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows
  • Professional experience in personnel management and team development

Additional

  • The role is based in Leipzig or Dresden. Candidates must have deep knowledge of HOAI and VgV procurement procedures. Proficiency in MS Office and AVA software (such as RIB iTWO) is required.
