Job Summary

As a Firewall Administrator for OT Security at Avacon Netz GmbH, you will be a founding member of a newly formed team dedicated to securing Critical Infrastructure (KRITIS) systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities include the independent verification, security assessment, and implementation of firewall rule changes, alongside managing the full lifecycle of firewall systems through proactive monitoring and updates. You will play a pivotal role in establishing new processes and standards for audit-secure structures in compliance with ISO 27001 and BSI IT-Grundschutz. Beyond technical troubleshooting and network performance analysis, you will act as a key technical interface between operations, planning, and architecture teams.
