Job Summary
As a Civil Engineer for the City of Wasserburg, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the urban infrastructure. Your daily responsibilities include the design and execution planning for roads, wastewater systems, and sports facilities. You will act as the owner's representative, managing municipal civil engineering projects and overseeing external engineering firms across all HOAI service phases. A significant part of the role involves strategic planning, such as implementing water development concepts and flood risk management. This position is ideal for a professional who enjoys a mix of technical design, project management, and strategic urban development. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Civil Engineering, ideally with a focus on Civil Engineering/Infrastructure, or a degree in a related professional field.
Experience
- Professional experience in civil engineering, specifically in road and sewer construction
- Experience in project planning, including design and execution phases
- Experience in tendering, awarding, and monitoring construction services
- Experience in managing external engineering firms across all HOAI phases
- Proven knowledge of technical regulations and procurement law for construction and design services
