Job Summary
As an Electrical Commissioning Technician, you will be responsible for the professional and timely commissioning of new machinery and the modification of existing systems. Your day-to-day activities involve creating and adapting PLC programs and HMI solutions tailored to specific customer needs, conducting process optimizations, and performing final handovers. You will also provide on-site training for customer personnel, conduct performance tests, and handle technical documentation. This role is ideal for technical problem-solvers who enjoy troubleshooting and direct customer interaction. What makes this position attractive is the blend of high-level automation programming with hands-on mechanical assembly support and the opportunity to act as the primary technical representative on-site. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in an electrical profession or as a qualified electrician; further qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician is desirable.
Experience
- Professional experience in a comparable field is preferred but not mandatory
- Advanced practical knowledge with Simatic PLC S7 controllers
- Experience in drive technology specifically with Siemens and SEW systems
- Proven ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic functional plans
- Experience in customer training and conducting performance tests
