Job Summary

As an Infrastructure Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in securing a global digital landscape by implementing and operating the Palo Alto Prisma Cloud CNAPP solution. Your daily responsibilities include automating security processes, developing self-service tools, and conducting comprehensive security analyses such as threat modeling and vulnerability assessments. You will be responsible for selecting and testing new security tools through Proof of Concepts (POCs) to stay ahead of technological trends. This role is highly collaborative, requiring you to monitor compliance with IT security requirements and initiate timely remediation measures. Based in Nuremberg, this position offers the opportunity to work within a massive global network of 50,000 experts, focusing on cutting-edge cloud security, identity protection, and incident response. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Computer Science, vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration, or equivalent professional qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT security with a focus on cloud and identity security
  • Practical experience in the operation and administration of the Palo Alto Prisma Cloud platform
  • Experience in automating and scripting cloud infrastructures using tools like Terraform or Ansible
  • Experience conducting security analyses, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessments
  • Proven track record in monitoring IT security compliance and implementing security measures
