This role involves the comprehensive planning and development of test systems for automotive electronic control units (ECUs) in collaboration with premium automotive OEMs. As a key expert, you will manage the entire project lifecycle, from initial requirement definition and cost estimation to mechanical and electrical design. You will be responsible for coordinating production planning and supporting the development of internal products. This position is ideal for a professional who enjoys a mix of technical engineering and project management, working at the intersection of hardware and software. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; alternatively, a state-certified technician (Staatlich geprüfter Techniker) with relevant experience.
Experience
- At least 5 years of professional experience in test and inspection systems within the automotive development or ECU sector
- Extensive experience in the development, planning, and configuration of test facilities
- Proven experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) systems
- Professional experience in mechanical, electrical, and electronic design
- Experience in independent project management and customer acquisition
