Job Summary
As an Electrical Engineer for Energy and Distribution Networks, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the energy infrastructure of tomorrow. Your day-to-day responsibilities include the planning and design of medium and low-voltage distribution networks, conducting complex network simulations for load flow and short circuits, and integrating renewable energy sources like photovoltaics and wind power. You will also oversee the dimensioning of transformer stations and substations while managing technical documentation and stakeholder communication with grid operators. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering and possesses practical experience in network calculation and regulatory frameworks such as VDE guidelines. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- Professional experience in the planning of power supply networks (Medium/Low voltage, ideally High voltage)
- Practical experience in network calculation and simulation
- Demonstrated understanding of regulatory frameworks including EEG, TAB, and VDE guidelines
- Experience in substation planning is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience in technical documentation and stakeholder communication
