Job Summary
As a Service Expert, you will serve as the central technical point of contact for WIPOTEC systems, providing high-level support to customers, partners, and field technicians. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve commissioning and configuring servers and networks for real-time data exchange, managing various databases, and performing complex troubleshooting both remotely and on-site. You will be responsible for creating technical protocols, developing training materials, and conducting educational sessions for technicians and clients. This role is unique for its blend of deep technical system management—including virtual machines and SQL databases—with proactive customer service and the opportunity to support technical improvement projects for service management. After a qualification period, you will also contribute to the 24/7 technical hotline, making this a vital position for ensuring system reliability and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Systems Electronician or Electronician with further training as an Electrical Engineering Technician.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in a technical service or IT electronics environment
- Extensive experience in networking, diagnosis, and optimization of machine-related networks
- Proven experience working with Microsoft SQL databases and virtual machine environments
- Experience in independent troubleshooting and repair of complex technical systems
- Professional experience in customer communication and service-oriented problem solving

- Willingness to travel from the location in 74523 Schwäbisch Hall; availability for 24/7 hotline support (following qualification); knowledge of the Pre-packaged Goods Ordinance (Fertigpackungsverordnung) is desirable.
