Job Summary
As an IT System Administrator for a growing e-commerce company with over 50 employees, you will take full ownership of the internal IT landscape. Your daily responsibilities include managing user support and helpdesk operations via a ticketing system, overseeing Active Directory, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues. You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows client systems, as well as managing network infrastructure including WLAN, switches, and printers. A significant portion of the role involves high-level server and security management, including Hyper-V virtualization, backup solutions, and firewall/VPN optimization. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys a mix of hands-on technical support and strategic project management, such as system migrations and infrastructure rollouts. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in IT, such as IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration), or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT system administration including hardware and software management
- Experience in 1st to 3rd level IT support and helpdesk operations
- Proven experience in server virtualization and network security components
- Experience in managing IT projects such as rollouts and migrations
- Preferred experience working with ERP systems, specifically Sage 100
