Job Summary

As a Project Engineer for Secondary Systems at RCM Technologies, you will play a vital role in the German energy transition by designing and constructing modern substations. Your daily responsibilities involve creating detailed design and execution plans for protection, control, and communication systems, while ensuring compliance with international standards like IEC 61850. You will act as a critical technical bridge between engineering teams, project management, and on-site commissioning engineers. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the secondary technology of substations
  • Extensive practical experience in the planning, testing, and commissioning of protection and control systems
  • Proven experience in technical clarification with customers and suppliers
  • Experience in ensuring compliance with industry-specific norms and standards (IEC, EN, VDE)
